Yes, it seems no-one is safe from this compulsory week of overly-complicated message boxes and being able to tell the world what mood/song/book/movie etc. they're in at the moment. Wish this had come a few months ago when I could fully appreciate it.
But down to business...I'm having fun playing around and experiementing with a combination of techniques on MS paint and PSP, so nothing new there, really. Have fun viewing the Rotating Snail, I seriously debated selling it to the V & A (sarcastic laugh). I seem to be spending an unhealthy amount of time with my head in one of the five laaaarvly new biochem books I got last weekend with the assistance of my father and his car. Trust me, if I'd dragged them manually back to 'home sweet home', I sincerely doubt I'd be writing this now.
Um... lectures all going fine, I was counting microbes down a microscope on thursday but the blimmin things were meant to be dead, not wiggling around all over the place like a load of full-stops on Red Bull! I also now know how life first started on earth, apparently we were all once a bunch of overly-friendly RNA molecules and phospho-lipid vesicles! But there's no time for big philosophical questions now, I still have many notes to write.
I'm also reading a lot of articles (on the net) on how Marilyn Manson got his influences and the significance of certain themes and symbols in his works. Damn, wish there was a book about it, it's interesting stuff. Just makes me wonder how much of it is over-interpritation and stuff...
